Blossoms

Blossoms

Today announce they’re in for one more season:

Forsythia, violets,

Crab apple, cherry, pear,

Dandelions, daffodils,

Red bud, maple

Chick weed, camellia

Grape hyacinth, blue bells

And the palest of pink stars, small as babies’ toenails,

Scattered along the high bank of the creek.

Named or not, each calls out to the world.
