Unruffled Silence
by
Rajnimila
Like soundless and motionless ship
You harboured in front of me
And
I continued appealing to you
To take me to
Another edge of my life.
But
How meticulously you ignored
Each of my intense urges!
Silently
I thudded
Inside your ear
For the response.
Long awaited!
Seconds elapsed
Minutes….
Hours…
Days…Months
And Years passed by me
And
Unwearied am I
Simply because
I know
One day
You'll muster up
All motion and sound for me
Just like
The morning appears with
A sack of light
And
Takes the Sun to its west
Every day!
