A Day by the Sea

As she sits peacefully

Staring out at the sea

Deep feelings washing over me

Feelings of loves lost

At so steep a cost

Today’s sorrows

That are gone tomorrow

Adoration leads to temptation

Gossiping and frolicking

Best friends forever, Always together

Her heart is so pure

Yet so unsure of what she’s in for

So young and strong

It won’t be long

And she’ll be gone

I must cherish this
